Commonwealth Bank’s (CommBank) venture scaling arm, x15ventures, is now accepting applications for its annual Xccelerate24 program, looking for Australian AI and data startups to back. The program is designed to help early-stage founders understand their path to partnering with CommBank. This year, x15 is seeking startups that leverage data and artificial intelligence (AI) to reinvent customer and employee experiences. A 54-year-old man whose gravestone business has frequently put him at odds with authorities has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges he defrauded customers out of more than $1.5 million, U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C.
