NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The French American Entrepreneurship Awards (FAEA) closed its 15th year by recognizing three outstanding early-stage startups led by French entrepreneurs in the United States. Since 2008, FAEA has been helping these companies innovate and grow, helping them succeed in the US market.
A judging panel made up of expert panels and FAEA committee members carefully evaluated a group of promising startups based on the innovation, viability and scalability of each business model.

The FAEA committee was represented by French entrepreneurs and executives of Club600, the non-profit organisation behind FAEA: Sylvain Hardier, Guillaume Bouvard, Anne Bousquet, Raphaël Camp, Yves Coléon, Eric Draghi and David Orvilleur.
The awards ceremony took place on 4 June 2024 at the Consulate General of France in New York, attended by Deputy Consul General Damien Laban and supported by French Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Franck Riester, and was live-streamed to a wider audience.
2024 FAEA Award Winners:
- First Prize: Weward (Health and Wellness) – This innovative app uses gamification to encourage healthy habits and motivate users to walk more through rewards and charitable incentives. - Second Prize: Aspibix (Medical Technology) – Aspivix is ​​transforming women’s healthcare with its advanced gynecological devices. - Third Place: Floor (Consumer Empowerment) – Yuka helps consumers make informed choices through its mobile app. By scanning barcodes on food and cosmetic products, users can learn about the health and environmental impact of the products. Julie Chapon, CEO and co-founder of Yuka, had this to say about the app’s impact:A recent survey found that 94% of US Yuka users rated a product with a red rating in the Yuka app, and we strive to encourage manufacturers to recommend healthier choices.. “
