SHREVEPORT, LA – A free, community-wide program that teaches children entrepreneurial skills through running their own lemonade stand will be held on May 18, 2024.

The Lemonade Day Shreveport-Bossier City program is presented by Cohab, whose executive director Jessica Schiele appeared on KTBS3 to provide more information.

Registration is now open for children who want to learn valuable lessons in financial literacy, problem solving, entrepreneurship, and more. Participants can sign up at any of the Cadence Bank Branch, Cafe Boba Tea, or Boba Xpres areas to receive a free backpack and workbook.

You can also register online here.

The community is invited to support these young entrepreneurs by finding lemonade stands and purchasing lemonade on May 18th.

Anyone sharing photos of their stand (with permission from the stand owner and their guardian) should use the hashtag #LemonadeDayShreveportBossierCity.
