With less than two weeks to go until the 2020 election, parts of the missing diary have been published online on a right-wing website.
Project Veritas did not release the diary, but claimed it belonged to then-38-year-old Ashley Biden and was provided to the organization by a “whistleblower.”
The group claimed the diary was obtained legally, but the FBI launched an investigation into how the diary ended up in the group’s hands, and in 2021, investigators reported that it had been linked to Project Veritas officials. ‘s home was searched twice.
Harris’ sentencing comes after months of rescheduling and testing prosecutors. According to court records, Harris’ original sentencing date was scheduled for Dec. 6, 2022, but Harris has since requested an additional 10 adjournments, citing childcare needs. did.
The day before her sentencing, Harris’ lawyers said in one of their requests that she was “too ill to care for her children and will not be able to appear in court tomorrow.”
Harris then failed to provide medical records “in a timely manner,” and authorities later learned that “defendant’s claim of ‘non-parenting’ was false,” according to court records.
