Taylor Swift finally sang the song fans have been waiting to see for years live. The 34-year-old surprised the sold-out crowd at her Eras Tour event in Amsterdam on Saturday, July 6, with a hidden track mash-up of “Mary’s Song,” “So High School,” and “Everything Has Changed.”
Swift sang the final lyrics of her 2006 smash hit “Mary’s Song,” a song that has taken on new meaning since she began dating NFL player Travis Kelce: “I’m 87, you’re 89, I still look up to you like a star in the sky, Oh my my my my.”

The Fortnite singer was all smiles as she performed the song for the first time since 2008, but fans cheered when they heard the lyrics, since the Kansas City Chiefs player’s jersey number is 87 and Swift was born in 1989 (her album is titled “1989”).
Also in attendance for the occasion was Kelsey, 34 (b. 1989), who has been a regular on Swift’s record-breaking stadium tours and joined her onstage at her London concert last month.
Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, were among those who witnessed the spectacle live during their European trip, which included stops in Amsterdam, Spain, London and Switzerland.
Swift changed the lyrics of “Karma” to “Chiefs man” because there were football players in the audience. She sings the song whenever Kelsey is there.
Taylor Swift returns to the Netherlands for the first time in eight years
The shows, which take place midway through the tour’s European leg, will mark the band’s first time visiting the Netherlands on tour since skipping the country on their 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour and their first time visiting the country on tour since 2015’s 1989 World Tour.
Swift’s three shows in the Dutch capital followed a weekend tour in Dublin in late June, where she handled a minor onstage incident with ease and welcomed Kelsey and actress Julia Roberts, who were spotted in the VIP tent.
Taylor Swift will be performing the three-and-a-half-hour show in Zurich, Switzerland, on back-to-back nights on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Later this summer, the pop sensation will wrap up her European tour with five shows in London, where she released her third highly successful show in June, which drew selfies with royalty, an onstage moment with Kelsey, and star-studded audiences.
