Which one is it? Biden the mastermind or Biden the failure?

BREAKING NEWS: Republicans are quietly directing a new attack at President Joe Biden, claiming he suffers from dissociative identity disorder. Biden has multiple personalities.

For months, Republicans have repeatedly pushed the message that Biden is a confused octogenarian, a “well-intentioned old man with a short memory,” in the words of the Republican special counsel who cleared Biden of possessing several classified documents.

Then the Republicans flipped the script: Biden is a criminal mastermind!

They tell us that this political superman has succeeded in “weaponizing” the justice system. Biden has convened a “camouflage court” – or worse, a Stalinist show trial! He has carried out “the worst false accusation in the history of our country” by having a jury convict Donald Trump of 34 felonies ahead of the 2024 elections. And wait for the verdict. On July 11, Biden, the Deep State puppet master, will no doubt again pull the strings of Judge Juan M. Marchan to send Trump to prison.

“I grew up in Miami and heard about the show trials of Castro in Cuba,” lamented politically flexible Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida in defense of Trump. “In my worst nightmares, I never thought something like that could happen in America. But it did.” (Again, Rubio said in 2016 that “a lot of people will have to explain and justify how they fell into the trap of supporting Donald Trump.”)

How did Biden do it? How did he get state grand juries, jurors and judges to do his bidding? Leave it to Republican Rep. Jim Jordan (Ohio), the wrestler-turned-congressional-fighter who chairs the House Select Subcommittee on Federal Weaponization (yes, there really is such a thing in the Republican-controlled House). Jordan has called Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Bragg’s lead prosecutor in the Trump trial to testify under oath next Thursday. Never mind that they are New York state officials, not cogs in the Biden-controlled federal government.

But wait, this supposed commander in chief of the armed government has transformed yet again. His new persona is Biden the blunderbuss.

Republicans would have us believe that the President concocted a “fake” case to convict Trump, but Biden failed to stop “his” Justice Department from putting his own son on trial. Hunter Biden is currently in court facing three criminal charges for lying about his drug use when purchasing a firearm in 2018.

And there are other prosecutions that only partisan bunglers, not nefarious masterminds, could have allowed. This week, the Justice Department is trying Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey on corruption charges. (Menendez, who lost reelection as a Democrat, filed paperwork on Monday to potentially run as an independent.) And last month, the Justice Department indicted yet another Democrat, Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas, on foreign-interest bribery charges.

Biden, it seems, has created a Frankenstein’s monster out of the nation’s top law enforcement agency, one that is attacking not only his own party but his own family.

Republicans, Fox News, and the rest of the MAGA media are ecstatic about the Hunter Biden trial, without of course acknowledging that it contradicts their ridiculous “two-tier justice” drivel. But even among those celebrating what they consider to be a legitimate prosecution, there are those who can’t stand it. They claim that both the current federal trial and Hunter Biden’s second trial in September in Los Angeles on tax evasion charges are “rigged.”

In an interview with New York Post right-wing columnist Miranda Devine on Monday, Fox News reporter Steve Doocy noted that Hunter is on trial in Wilmington, Delaware, which is President Biden’s hometown and campaign headquarters. Doocy noted that “every federal building” is named for Biden, even a popular rest stop on Interstate 95 in Delaware. “Would anyone go against the Biden family?” Doocy asked, as if they were a crime family.

That was also the case for Devine, broadcasting live from Wilmington. With the president in town, she said, “everyone” knows he’s “watching very closely what Judge Mary Ellen Noreika is doing in the courtroom.” He’s “making a really visible presence with my son,” she said. It’s a signal from the president, she argues: “‘If you mess with my son, you mess with me.'”

Hunter Biden’s trial “is really the opposite of Donald Trump’s trial,” Devine concluded. “The odds are stacked in Hunter Biden’s favor in this case.”

Really?

Hunter’s investigation began six years ago at the Trump Justice Department (without Joe Biden lamenting about the “weaponization of justice”). When his father became president, he retained the Trump-appointed federal prosecutor who was investigating his son, Republican David Weiss (can you imagine that Trump would do the same thing as president if a Democratic appointee had been investigating Donald Jr.?). When Hunter’s plea deal on gun and tax charges fell apart in July (thrown out by Trump-appointed Judge Noreika), President Biden’s Attorney General granted Weiss’ request to be special counsel, so Weiss can sue his son in any federal court. He picked Bidenland, Delaware, and Democratic Louisiana.

There is nothing in Hunter Biden’s humiliating legal predicament that suggests a stacking of odds by mastermind Joe Biden, and as Biden himself says, God love him for respecting the rule of law, even with his only surviving son.
