Paramotor pilot and YouTuber Anthony Vera suffered a broken neck, back and pelvis when his plane crashed at Enchanted Rock State Park northwest of Austin. The accident was caught on camera.
In a YouTube video of the incident titled “Paramotor Collision Almost Ended My Life,” the 33-year-old man was testing the BGD Luna 3 when he was flying at speeds of 80 miles per hour. He said he lost control of the plane. 80 to 100 feet above ground level.

Video of Vera’s crash landing, which shows him trying and failing to take control of the plane, has gone viral on the internet. Near the end, he can be seen lying on the ground, calling for emergency help.
A user named Colin Rugg shared the video on He suffered broken bones, a broken pelvis, and a broken arm. All injuries required surgery. Mr. Berra later said the cause of the crash was that he “missed a small pension knot” during pre-takeoff inspection. He explained.
