So, you know how sometimes people mix up food in weird ways? Do you like to put pineapple on your pizza or dip French fries in your milkshake? Well, there’s a new thing that’s making waves online – ‘egg halwa’. Yes, it’s a dessert made with eggs.

Desserts are usually sweet, right? But someone decided to mix eggs into the dessert. Instagram user @asmagray9 shared a reel on his account depicting the entire recipe and process. egg halwa.

She whips up egg halwa using 6 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of powdered milk, 1 cup of ghee or butter and 1 cup of cream. In the end, it looks exactly like a regular halwa.

Netizens on social media couldn’t believe it when they saw this egg-based dessert online. One user said, “He just wasted 36 grams of protein??” Others, on the other hand, were simply fed up.

A second user added: “My mom makes this in the winter and it’s not like everyone thinks but it’s really delicious.” And a third person said, “This is really delicious. It’s one of my favorite halwa’s. Egg lovers and sweets lovers should definitely try it.”

The origin of halwa persia, is a famous sweet dish in India and is widely enjoyed across India. It is made from ingredients such as flour, butter, oil, saffron, rose water, milk, cocoa powder, and sugar, resulting in a thick paste-like dessert.
