Nine-year-old Praniska Mishra wowed the judges on America’s Got Talent with her rendition of the Tina Turner classic. Deep rivers and high mountainsand won the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum. The Indian-American girl from Florida made a video call to her grandmother immediately after leaving the judges speechless.
In the now-viral video, Mishra can be seen taking to the stage in a pink dress. “I’ve always loved singing. Singing makes me happy. When I was four years old, I would pretend I was holding a microphone and singing to the whole world.” When asked who she would call first if selected, Mishra said she would call her grandmother, as she had always wanted to see her on the big stage.

At the end of the video, Heidi Klum asks Mishra to call her grandmother, presses the golden buzzer and rushes to hug him. Mishra’s parents are also seen in the video, overjoyed.

The video, which was shared on July 4th, garnered a variety of reactions. One YouTube user commented, “She’s so amazing and stunning! Definitely deserves a Golden Buzzer,” while another wrote, “Phenomenal! 9 years old? Unbelievable.”
