London, UK –NewsDirect– Fah Mai Holdings Group Inc
Jacob Carter, UK Head of Farmai Holdings Group and @whiskybulauctions Manager, discusses the benefits of whiskey as a stable tangible asset in a volatile stock market environment.
In an interview with Proactive’s Stephen Gagnon, Carter emphasized that whiskey’s value increases with its age, rarity and availability, providing performance independent of economic conditions. He differentiated between bottles and casks, noting that bottles are more flexible, whereas casks require a long investment period and do not provide annual returns, but have the potential for significant price appreciation.
Mr Carter also mentioned the role of whisky, particularly in hedging against inflation due to supply constraints in the bottle market. He explained that the bottles are more adaptable, easier to sell and provide liquidity to investors. In contrast, Cask represents a long-term investment, but is less correlated with volatile stock movements.
He further described investment opportunities for Farmai Holdings, including direct cask purchases, fractional cask investments through platinum casks, and whiskey bull auctions for bottle trading.
Mr. Carter emphasized the importance of transparency, integrity and investor education in management, especially as the company prepares for an IPO and is independently audited for international markets.
