The Denver Broncos wrapped up their mandatory minicamp last Thursday and will have a month off before training camp begins. Rookies begin training camp on July 17 and veterans on July 23.

The Broncos will have four of their five starting offensive linemen returning for next season.

The Broncos are set to have four starters returning for next season, including LT Garrett Bolles, LG Ben Powers, RG Quinn Miners and RT Mike McGlinchey.

The only starter from last season who will not return next season is Lloyd Cushenberry III, who signed with the Tennessee Titans this offseason, leaving the center position open.

The Broncos will have three players competing for the starting center position.

The first player to compete for a starting spot is Luke Wattenberg. In his third season, Wattenberg has played in 23 games, starting one. In 2022, he played in seven games, starting one, playing 30 snaps at LG, 25 snaps at C, 34 snaps at RG and one snap at ITE. In 2023, he played in 16 games, three snaps at C and 35 snaps at RG.

The second player competing for the starting spot is Alex Forsythe. Forsythe is in his second year and hasn’t played a snap or a game as a rookie. He played alongside Bo Nix at Oregon.

The third player competing for the starting spot is Sam Mustipher. Mustipher is in his sixth year with his third team. He played his first four seasons with the Chicago Bears, appearing in 43 games, 40 of which were starts at center. Last season he played with the Baltimore Ravens, appearing in nine games, two of which were starts at center. He has played most of his career as a center, playing all but three snaps per game in the NFL. Hehe.

The competition is expected to intensify during training camp and the preseason. Who will win the starting center spot?
