The Pittsburgh Steelers entered the 2023 season with Dan Moore Jr. and Broderick Jones battling for the starting LT position, with Chukwuma Okorafor defending the starting RT position. Moore ultimately won, with Jones taking over as swing tackle.
Jones took over as the starting right fielder in Week 9 and started the rest of the season after the Steelers benched Chucks after he criticized the play calling in Week 8. He finished with 29 pressures, 20 hurries, five hits, four sacks and a PFF grade of 60.7.
The Steelers cut Chucks and drafted an offensive tackle in the first round who played LT in college. Having drafted a LT, it was unclear if they would keep Jones at RT. The plan seems set.
The Pittsburgh Steelers had the second-year player work on the left wing.
Broderick Jones worked out at left field during OTAs and minicamp and is likely to start in his natural position, which he played in college.
The Steelers swapped their first round picks.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have made some changes to their first-round pick position.

According to Brooke Pryor ESPN, Troy Fautanu, who played LT in college, switched positions in the offseason and worked out at RT during camp, and Fautanu has already impressed offensive line coach Pat Meyer.
“Troy has picked up a lot of different techniques very quickly,” offensive line coach Pat Meyer said. “The first few days his timing was off because the speed of the game is different. Right now he’s not even wearing pads so nothing’s set in stone until he gets into camp, but his timing is much better with starts, runs, sets, throwing hands, offensive movements. He’s improved by leaps and bounds from rookie minicamp until now.”
Fautanu isn’t the only tackle changing positions this offseason.
Dan Moore Jr. also changed positions.

Dan Moore Jr. also changed positions, converting from LT to RT. Moore started 49 games and played over 3,000 snaps at LT during his NFL career. He struggled at LT and changed positions. He will compete with Fautanu for the starting RT position.
Who will win the starting right fielder spot?
