Ohio State fans can be pretty hostile at times. If you’ve ever met them, you’d probably think the Buckeyes are the greatest thing to ever happen to college football. And if you tell an Ohio State fan that they’ve had a disappointing run over the last decade and haven’t even been among the top three teams in the sport during that time, they might want to throw something at you. One major media analyst noticed this and ranked them as the second most hostile fanbase in college football.
Ohio State ranked 4th overall in sports and 2nd in college football.
Big Game Boomer is a leading social media media network that constantly produces sports related rankings, and this week they released their rankings of the top 50 most hostile fan bases in all of sports, with the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders coming in at number 1, Tennessee at number 2 as the number 1 most hostile team in college football, and Ohio State at number 4 as the second most hostile team in college football.

Ohio State’s biggest rival, Michigan, isn’t on the list at all, which is shocking because Ohio State fans are just as bad as Buckeye fans – maybe even worse. Many Ohio State fans were not happy with the ranking and responded on social media.
