The Los Angeles Chargers will conclude mandatory minicamp on Thursday, June 13 and then have a month off before training camp begins. Rookies will report to training camp on Tuesday, July 16 and veteran players will convene on Tuesday, July 23.

Taheeb Still had an impressive performance during mandatory minicamp, intercepting a Justin Herbert pass and deflecting several passes during practice.
“He has held up well through most of spring practice, getting an interception off Justin Herbert on Thursday and adding two more passes blocked in full-squad drills with the other quarterbacks.”
His performance impressed their new DC.
The Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator was impressed with Taheeb Still’s performance.

“Tahib’s made some really nice strides in the last three or four practices, which is what you’d expect from a guy who’s had five or six practices,” defensive coordinator Jesse Minter said. “I’m really happy with the strides he’s made.”
“He’s made a lot of really good plays the last few days,” Minter added.
He will compete with a third-year player for the starting nickel cornerback position.

Jasar Taylor will compete with Taheeb Still for the starting nickel spot. Taylor is in his third year and is off to a good start in his career.
Taylor served as the backup to Bryce Callahan during his rookie season, appearing in 17 games with three starts. He recorded 22 tackles, one pass deflection and a PFF grade of 60.6.
Taylor was a starter in his second season, appearing in 16 games with six starts. He recorded 32 tackles, one interception, eight pass deflections and a PFF grade of 56.2.
