Indian stock market timing today
According to a BSE circular, the special trading session will be divided into two parts. In the first phase, a 45-minute session will run from 9:15 am (IST) to 10:00 am (IST). Another live trading session is scheduled to be held between 11:30 and 12:30 IST.
Price range for today’s special trading session
The BSE circular states that a maximum price band of 5% will apply to all securities, including those for which derivative instruments are offered. Securities currently priced at 2% or below will continue to be accessible at those price ranges. All closed-end mutual funds have a 5% price band.
“The daily operating range for all futures contracts is 5%. No changes in securities or futures contracts apply on the current day. Price ranges applicable at the start of the day for equity segments and futures contracts are available on the PR site. , therefore, the reference price range for the pre-open session of the stock segment on the DR site may be changed due to market factors by the closing time of the PR site,” BSE said in the circular.
