General underwriter Victor has announced the appointment of Tim McDougald as President of Victor US Specialty Underwriting, effective immediately.
In his new role, Mr. McDougald will be based in Boston and will be responsible for Victor US’s overall growth, innovation and talent development.
He will report directly to Victor CEO Charles Williamson, who commented: “Tim McDougald’s proven leadership and strong carrier relationships make him the ideal candidate to lead our U.S. specialty underwriting business as we continue to grow our presence in the U.S. market. It has become.

McDougald brings extensive leadership and insurance experience spanning 34 years with Marsh, having held various leadership roles in both New York and Boston.
Tim led Marsh’s New York metro risk management team after eight years in his current role as Marsh’s New England operations leader.
