TiEcon is TiE Silicon Valley’s flagship conference for entrepreneurs. It is one of the world’s largest entrepreneurship conferences run entirely by volunteers. This conference attracts participants from all over the world.
The theme of this year’s conference is AI ubiquity. He should be talking a lot about AI at the conference, as keynote speakers include Jensen Huang, Nikesh Arora, Navin Chaddha, and Jay Chaudhry. Some of these programs are briefly described below. The program is structured to minimize duplication. This allows entrepreneurs to participate in multiple programs if they wish.
- startup boot camp
The TiEcon Startup Bootcamp is an intensive one-day program designed to provide early-stage entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and networks they need to take their startups to the next level.
This year’s TiEcon Startup Bootcamp will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Renowned entrepreneurs, educators, investors, and mentors will be featured to share their insights and expertise with attendees.
This unique format allows entrepreneurs to learn from Silicon Valley experts on how to get started right. Participants will work with mentors, experienced entrepreneurs, and local business leaders in a small group setting and gain insight on how to take their business to the next level. Startups also have the opportunity to pitch to a panel of investors and get feedback.
The cost to join the Startup Bootcamp is $249 and will be added to your TiEcon registration.
- VC Connect
VC Connect will be held on Thursday, May 2ndn.d. at the Santa Clara Convention Center from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
The VC Connect program gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to receive direct feedback from experienced Silicon Valley venture capitalists. These VCs have invested in startups and helped them grow from early stages to exit. Their expertise spans AI, security, cloud, enterprise applications, and more.
The cost to join VC Connect is $249 and will be added to your TiEcon registration. There is a curation process for startups that participate in VC Connect. Once your startup registers, you will receive an eligibility form that you need to submit. Entrepreneurs are expected to work on their startup full-time. Since seats at the table are limited, he only asks one founder to participate per startup.
Up to three entrepreneurs will have a 50-minute discussion with the VC. The VCs then switch and the founder has her second session with another of his VCs. This allows the entrepreneur to get feedback from her two different investors for almost two hours.
- Mentor Connect
The MentorConnect program provides a structured environment to provide mentorship to TiEcon 2024 participants. The event will be held on May 2nd (Thursday) in two parts, with a lunch break (12:30pm to 1:30pm) in between.n.d. and Friday, May 3rdrd.
All of our mentors are highly accomplished entrepreneurs and professionals. Mentees have the opportunity to seek advice and receive feedback from luminaries in a small-scale environment (typically no more than six people per table). Since this year’s theme is the Ubiquitous AI Conference, there are many AI experts among the mentors. Whether your mentee is a novice entrepreneur or an aspiring entrepreneur looking to validate your idea, they will have the opportunity to receive near-one-on-one mentorship from some of the best people in the business.

- TiE50
TiE50 is TiE Silicon Valley’s premier annual awards program, contested by thousands of early to mid-stage startups from around the world. Participating technology startups benefit from extensive exposure to venture capitalists, angels, and entrepreneurs. Face-to-face product exhibitions, business alliances/networking.
Since the inception of the TiE50 program, approximately 85% of award winners and top startups have received more than $1 billion in funding. Many of these companies have been acquired or IPO’d.
