DYERSBURG, Tenn. — A Dyersburg nonprofit is doing its part by supporting small businesses.
The Mill Workspace is funded by a grant from Launch Tennessee, a state funding organization and nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship throughout Northwest Tennessee.
CEO Chris Donaldson tells us more about their background.
“The Mill Workspace is the newest entrepreneurship center in the Launch Tennessee Network of regional entrepreneurship centers,” Donaldson explained. “So we are one of eight entrepreneurship centers in the state.”
Starting out as a simple co-working space where people rent out desks to give people a place to work, The Mill offers a variety of possibilities to its community.
“And now, as the Center for Entrepreneurship, we offer a range of programs, from one-on-one consulting with companies, to helping companies get unstuck and work on strategy, to offering workshops. ,” Donaldson said. .
If you are looking to start a small business or already own a small business, contact The Mill to schedule an appointment and find out what you need to do to grow.
“Those initials, all you do is fill out a form, and that allows us to set up an appointment,” Donaldson said. “We just had our first interview or first meeting to discuss what you need help with.”
They always have workshops that you can attend to learn as much as possible about running a business, and they have even more great information to offer.
