The running back who is currently the top choice to be the second commitment after Stewart at the position in this class is James Simon, a highly touted four-star recruit out of Shreveport (LA) Calvary Baptist. is.
Simon has been trending toward Texas since communication began between him and the coach earlier this spring. Choice and the Longhorns staff hosted Simon for a successful unofficial trip to the Texas Spring Game at DKR on April 20th.

Simon is scheduled to make an official visit to Texas in late June (June 21-23). Simon appears to want to wait to announce his decision until after next month’s official visit to Texas.
