(up 3.31%), Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd. (up 3.31%), Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd. (up 2.58%), Simbhaoli Sugars Ltd. (up 2.14%), Magadh Sugar & Energy Ltd. (up 1.80%) and Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd. (up 1.78%).
Among the top decliners were Rajshree Sugars and Chemicals (down 3.09%), Sakthi Sugars (down 0.74%) and Eid Pali (India) (down 0.12%).
Around 11:25 am, the NSE Nifty50 index was trading at 23,419.3, up 154.46 points, while the 30-stock BSE Sensex was trading at 76,930.77, up 474.18 points.
Coal India Ltd. (up 2.86 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 1.96 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (up 1.8 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd. (up 1.64 per cent), LTI Mindtree Ltd. (up 1.46 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.38 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 1.35 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 1.32 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 1.28 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd. (up 1.23 per cent) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. On the other hand, Titan Company (down 0.95%), Britannia Industries (down 0.95%), Hindustan Unilever (down 0.83%), Asian Paints (down 0.57%), Mahindra & Mahindra (down 0.22%), Tata Consumer Products (down 0.04%) and Infosys (down 0.03%) were down.
