(up 4.77%), Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (up 4.40%), NLC India Ltd. (up 4.16%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 3.58%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd. (up 3.07%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd. (up 3.06%) and Tata Power Company Ltd. (up 2.79%).
Top decliners included Newon Towers (down 5.20%), Ratan India Power (down 5.00%), Transformers and Rectifiers (India) (down 2.53%), PTC India (down 2.34%), Energy Development Company (down 1.77%), KPI Green Energy (down 0.92%), Voltam Transformers (down 0.88%), Indianwind Energy (down 0.77%) and Jaiprakash Power Ventures (down 0.39%).
At around 11:05 am, the NSE Nifty50 index was trading at 23,348.35, up 58.2 points, while the 30-stock BSE Sensex was trading at 76,801.56, up 108.2 points.
UltraTech Cement (up 3.75%), Power Grid Corporation of India (up 3.61%), Hero MotoCorp (up 3.37%), Grasim Industries (up 2.93%), NTPC (up 2.36%), Cipla (up 2.15%), Axis Bank (up 1.57%), Nestle India (up 1.51%), Larsen & Toubro (up 1.29%) and Britannia Industries (up 1.27%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. On the other hand, Tech Mahindra (down 2.37%), Infosys (down 1.95%), LTI Mindtree (down 1.73%), HCL Technologies (down 1.58%), Wipro (down 1.32%), Titan Company (down 1.12%), Mahindra & Mahindra (down 1.01%), Tata Consultancy Services (down 0.83%), JSW Steel (down 0.74%) and Hindustan Unilever (down 0.53%) were among the decliners.
