Stanford They are in a great position to acquire one of the best offensive linemen in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

The Cardinal are currently focusing their efforts on recruiting the Overland Park (Kansas) player. Northwest Blue Valley Five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola, according to On3 Recruitment Prediction Machine (RPM)On3’s Steve Wiltfong recorded expert predictions in Stanford’s favor with 60% confidence.

Last month, Babalola was scheduled to make official visits to Auburn, Missouri, Stanford, Michigan and Oklahoma City, and he used On3 to provide details about each school.

“We have to start with the elite scholars at Stanford.” Babalola says:“That separates them from other teams, but they also have a good tradition in football. Coach Troy Taylor He’s trying to revive this program and I like his vision for the program.”

In late May, Wiltfong and On3’s Chad Simmons “At your own discretion.” On the elite uncommitted candidates in the class of 2025. They both chose Stanford because of Babalola.

PS: “Official visits will be important. Academics are very important here. I’ve heard NIL is a factor but not a big one. Auburn made a move last weekend. Michigan, Oklahoma and Stanford are in the mix too. Oklahoma had some initial momentum but has faded a bit. Stanford’s academics make the Cardinal a strong player. I was told not to underestimate Michigan because of the combination of football and academics. I would lean towards Stanford today, but this one is still pretty open.”

Wiltfong: “Today I would pick Stanford. If it weren’t for football, he would go to Stanford. They’ve done a great job. The vision of the program, I think his family loves it and what it represents. Auburn is also a great school in a great position, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up with the Tigers.”

Andrew Babalola Employment Profile

Babalola is the nation’s No. 20 prospect, No. 4 offensive tackle and top player out of Kansas in the 2025 cycle. On3 Industry Rankings — A weighted average utilizing all four of the biggest hiring media companies.

On3’s scouting and rankings team wrote the following about him as a prospect:

“Extremely talented offensive tackle with the physical traits and athleticism to develop into one of the top prospects at his position in the 2025 cycle. New to football, previously focusing on basketball but playing his first year on varsity as a junior. Prior to his junior season he was listed at over 6’5″, weighed 280 pounds with arms over 34 inches. Naturally flexible athlete. Plays low with a flat back and sinks his hips to get between defenders. Moves with power and function. Moves well and is light on his feet. Has great balance and a strong base that allows him to play with his feet firmly on the ground. Shows incredible, even phenomenal, play strength for a developing tackle. Routinely outplays defensive linemen at the point of attack.”

“He has a strong grip to sustain blocks and often finishes powerfully, slamming defensive linemen to the ground. He has shown an encouraging level of physicality and meanness. He needs to continue to hone his overall technique, especially in pass protection. He is just scratching the surface of his vast potential and could be a contender for a top tackle spot in the 2025 cycle if he continues to develop.
