Dolce, 62, grew up in Johnston, Rhode Island, and earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Rhode Island. He currently serves as CEO and chairman of the board of Lookout, a maker of mobile security software. He has two sons, ages 27 and 30. 30 years old, from a previous marriage.

Tyrner, 40, grew up in Casa Grande, Arizona.

They didn’t see each other again until the following month, when Dolce returned to Manhattan. When he kissed Tyrner on their fifth date, she was sure of his intentions. “He kept talking about our business relationship,” she says. “And I thought, ‘Maybe he’s trying to steal my idea, or maybe he wants to be my investor.'”

Tyrner said she was “really attracted” to him because he was also an entrepreneur with a “big heart.”

Dolce said he was first attracted to Tyrner’s “beautiful smile,” adding: “She’s self-made, extremely giving, but also has a warm heart. She’s a fantastic mother.”

By early 2020, the relationship had become more serious. Then the pandemic hit. Tyrner, who previously described herself as a “New York girl who never left New York,” spent the spring and summer of 2020 with Dolce and their daughter in San Francisco before the three moved to Boston. In October 2022, Dolce proposed in Florida aboard the couple’s boat, Restoration, named for the event production company where they met.

Tyrner and Dolce were married on June 15 in front of about 100 guests on Lake Como in Italy. Tyrner’s daughter, now 13, walked down the aisle with Dolce’s sons. The couple’s friend, John Herring, executive director and founder of Lookout, officiated the ceremony, which they obtained a one-day wedding permit from the state of Massachusetts for.
