Rohit Sharma is making his Wimbledon debut and was also spotted catching up with former cricketer Dinesh Karthik.
A few days after winning the T20 World Cup, Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma was spotted watching the men’s semi-final at the Centre Court of Wimbledon. Sharma posted a few pictures on his official Instagram account in collaboration with the official Wimbledon account, which have been going viral ever since.
“Welcome to Wimbledon @rohitsharma45,” the post read. Sharma was seen dressed in a stylish grey suit and sunglasses. Adidas India “We have a world champion in the house!” one person commented on the post. “Our world champion,” one Instagram user wrote. A third fan wrote, “Your bro is the very definition of ‘handsome.'”

In another video taken from the venue, Rohit can be seen interacting with many of the people present. “Excited to feel the atmosphere,” the video was captioned. “Behind the scenes of @rohitsharma45’s first visit to #Wimbledon.”
In the video, Sharma expresses his excitement at feeling the “atmosphere” and reflects on his understanding of what it takes to be an athlete, especially with over 50,000 spectators in attendance. He mentions how amazing it will be to be on the other side of the field for once.
“I am not taking sides, I am just here to watch the tennis match. In cricket, everyone says may the best team win, but I say ‘may the best player win’,” he said.
Reacting to this, one fan wrote, “Bollywood actors are crying in the corner,” while another commented, “Never have I seen him looking so handsome. Is it the T20 trophy aura?” Another commented, “Bollywood actors, Rohit has saved you as a cricketer and not as an actor.”
