RICE, led by Black women, is now America's largest entrepreneurial hub

Black entrepreneurs are widely under-funded and under-resourced and are well-represented in a variety of sectors. Now, the hub dedicated to empowering Black business owners is one of the largest hubs in the world to advance that mission and is led by Black women.

The Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE) recently appointed Sean M. Graham, a certified public accountant, as executive vice president and chief administrative officer, and Monica Delores, MBA, EDP, according to a news release. – Announced the appointment of Mr. Fuchs as Chief Experience Officer.

Launched in 2018, RICE was founded as a business incubator to energize and support local African American entrepreneurs to grow, scale and create jobs through their efforts. This recent milestone is a testament to our team’s efforts.

“Atlanta instills a deep sense of pride and responsibility,” Monica Delores said in a statement. “At RICE, we are building a community that provides founders with the comprehensive support I once dreamed of. I am honored to contribute to the story of Black excellence and innovation in this city that has shaped me. Masu.”

Shawn M. Graham, who previously worked at the National Black MBA Association, Inc. (NBMBAA), also joins RICE to ensure continued growth.

Among RICE’s many programs, one of RICE’s featured services is the Supply Chain Accelerator, which focuses on the relationship between contract readiness and government contracting opportunities.

“I’m excited to lend my skills to RICE’s empowering mission,” Sean said in a statement. “Our goal is to provide a strong platform for Black entrepreneurs to excel and reshape the business landscape with innovative and sustainable strategies.”
