Aiming to help artists better understand the creative and business sides of their work and foster a community around it, the Amplify Music Incubator (AMI) will host its seventh annual event from June 11th to July 22nd. The event will run until May 25th, and applications will be accepted until midnight on May 25th. .
The program is delivered in a hybrid format, with five weeks of creative and cultural entrepreneurship training led by industry experts, followed by a final week-long stay in Goa culminating in a showcase Masu. The training focuses on well-being through workshops and talks to help artists better themselves, as well as learning about creative collaboration, copyright and royalties, PR and marketing, streaming, and even show styling. It is hoped that this will deepen understanding.
A not-for-profit initiative hosted by agency Gatecrash and the Music Mulakatein Foundation with support from Canada’s Music Incubator, AMI has previously benefited T.ill Apes, Anoushka Maskey, Sheherazaad, RANJ + Clifr, Easy Wanderlings, and more. I’ve given it.
With 15 spots open to the public, AMI is looking for artists who demonstrate seriousness about their project, which will be judged by past work such as release history and live shows. Tanish Thakkar, founder of AMI, further added: Artists who not only want to invest in their own learning and growth, but are also willing to contribute to the community we are building. ”
To participate in the open recruitment, please apply here by midnight on May 25th.
