JACKSON (WNE) — The Wyoming Women’s Council is seeking nominations of outstanding women entrepreneurs from across the state for recognition in the annual Jean Torres Women’s Entrepreneurship Award.

Nomination forms are available at WyomingWomensCouncil.org. The deadline for nominations for 2024 is May 10th.

Candidates must be women based in Wyoming who have owned, co-owned, or operated a business continuously for at least three years.

Women may nominate themselves or be nominated by others.

The award will be presented on the Wyoming Council for Women’s website, on social media and in news outlets across the state, as well as at a ceremony in the recipient’s city of business.

“Wyoming’s women have accomplished amazing feats, and we want to encourage all women entrepreneurs to use their voices and recognize other great women,” said Natalia Macker, president of the Wyoming Women’s Council. I want to encourage them to do the same.” “We need help finding these amazing women and telling their stories. We invite you to nominate a female business owner in your community or nominate yourself. I am.”

This is the seventh time the council has presented the Women Entrepreneur Award. Previous recipients include women from across the state.

“The last few years have been difficult for Wyoming entrepreneurs, but many women business owners have overcome challenges and succeeded despite the challenges,” said Mary Ann, WCW Entrepreneur Awards Committee Chair. Cummins said. “These community leaders have inspired countless others through their actions. Highlight these homegrown businesses by naming a personal hero.”
