As the grand celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant begin, the couple is tying the knot in the most lavish way one after the other. While the family decorated their home with lavish decor for the Mameloo ceremony, the Sangeet was also star-studded with an appearance by Justin Bieber. Now, a video of Radhika Merchant’s ‘Graha Shanti Puja’ has been shared on social media and is going viral.
The video begins with Radhika Merchant in a traditional white saree teamed with a pink blouse. She completes the look with a diamond necklace, earrings, maang tikka and nath. On July 5, the family hosted a grand sangeet which featured a performance from pop sensation Justin Bieber. The singer sang hits like Baby, Love Yourself and Boyfriend. But that wasn’t the only great moment of the sangeet. The Ambani ladies enthralled the audience with their drama queen voices. Other not to be missed moments from the sangeet include Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Kapoor dancing to “Show Me The Thumka,” Nita Ambani praising the Indian cricket team for their victory in the T20I World Cup and Ollie dancing with the Bollywood team.
The Mamel Ritual:
On July 3, Ambani’s residence Antilia was decked out in hues of pink, orange and white for the mammel ceremony. For those unaware, the mammel ceremony is a Gujarati wedding tradition in which the bride’s maternal uncle (mama) visits the bride bearing gifts like sweets, jewellery, sarees etc. During the ceremony, Radhika was seen wearing a beautiful pink lehenga.
