Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant held a star-studded wedding in Mumbai last night, with the billionaire Ambani scion wed his longtime love in the presence of friends, family and a host of international VIPs.
The lavish wedding was a blend of Gujarati wedding rituals and Western traditions. The couple exchanged varmala and read out their wedding vows to each other while performing pheras around a sacred fire.
In a video that has gone viral online, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant can be seen talking about their “dream home” during their wedding vows. Choti Ambani Bahu said their home will be a place of love and togetherness.
“It’s going to be where we are, wherever we go, we’re going to be together,” she said.
Anant Ambani responded to her with a vow written in Hindi: “Radhika, with the blessings of Shree Krishna, The main purpose is to know who we are “(We pledge to) build a beautiful dream home together,” Ambani’s successor promised.
“Our home is not a place. Wherever we are, it will be a home of love and togetherness,” Anant Ambani continued in Hindi. He concluded his wedding vows with the words, “Jai Shree Krishna.”

Anant Ambani, the second son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani, married Radhika Merchant in a lavish ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12. Large parts of the Bandra Kurla Complex were closed to the public to allow VIP guests to attend what has been dubbed the wedding of the century.
The wedding was attended by over 600 guests, including Khloe and Kim Kardashian, Lalu Prasad Yadav, businessman Gautam Adani, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra.
