
Qcells, a leading provider of clean energy solutions, has released new data showing the significant economic benefits of solar manufacturing investments in Georgia. According to a report from the Cartersville-Bartow County Economic Development Agency, Qcells’ manufacturing operations in Georgia generate significant economic impact each year.

- Estimated direct employment: 3,800 jobs in Bartow and Whitfield counties.
- Estimated total employment: 6,755 jobs in Bartow and Whitfield counties.

These figures underscore Qcells’ commitment to U.S. manufacturing and growing presence in Georgia. The company’s ambitious $2.5 billion investment, announced in January 2023, led to its expansion in Dalton and the creation of a fully integrated solar supply chain in Cartersville.

Qcells recently completed an expansion of its Dalton facility, creating an additional 510 clean energy jobs. Additionally, the company has begun manufacturing solar panels at its Cartersville facility, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
