The prosecutor’s office on Monday night gave police permission to investigate Ami Dror, a protest leader calling on the government to accept the hostage release agreement, on suspicion of sedition against Netanyahu during a demonstration outside his home in Caesarea on Thursday.
The decision comes after Dror recently pointed to Netanyahu’s home and said, “Let’s throw out the trash, let’s get rid of it.” He vowed to “put on lawns the ruins of his castle in Caesarea” and “cover his swimming pool with concrete.”
Dror called the prime minister and his family “a family of madmen who are destroying the state of Israel,” adding that “I myself am [Netanyahu] It’s the devil.
“He is terrified of the hostages’ families, is a compulsive kleptomaniac, barks like a puppy and is a professional agitator.”
Dealing with the Prosecutor’s Office
Responding to the decision to investigate Delors, a protest leader said: “They are afraid. An investigation will not help! We will not allow them to destroy the country. We will continue resolutely, without violence or civility, until a new government is formed!”
“Obviously, I will approach any investigation with respect. I have a lot of respect for the State’s Attorney’s Office and I’m happy to explain in my own words.”
