Prince William, 42, was filmed riding an electric scooter into Windsor Castle in a video that first appeared on TikTok on Thursday and has since gone viral.
The footage shows the future King of England wearing a blue pullover, black trousers and sunglasses as he cycles into the castle. It is unclear when the footage was taken, but social media users have suggested it may have been taken on July 4th this year.

This is likely the first time Prince William has been spotted riding an electric scooter since The Sun reported last year that he had bought one to meet the King.
“It makes sense – when he needs to see the King, he rushes off to the castle,” a source told The Sun at the time.
“It’s a two- or three-mile round trip from their family home in Adelaide Cottage to Windsor Castle, so the scooter is an easier option than driving or walking,” the source added.
Adelaide Cottage is the primary residence for Prince William and his family – his wife Kate Middleton and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Located within the grounds of Windsor Home Park, a 655-acre estate that is part of the private Windsor Castle estate, Adelaide Cottage is a four-bedroom home built in 1831.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will move out of Kensington Palace and into Adelaide Cottage in 2022.
Social media reactions
Prince William has become an internet sensation after using an electric scooter.
One X user described it as a “fun and practical” way to get around the sprawling property.
“This video is amazing, if he wasn’t the most famous person in the world and the future king he would just be a tourist,” said another.
The make and model of the electric scooter is unknown.
