Biden builds early advertising advantage as Trump spends millions on legal fees

President Joe Biden and his allies have nearly tripled ad spending on Donald Trump’s network in the past month and a half, while the former president has to divert millions of campaign funds toward legal costs. Instead, he had to attend a New York court for a hush money trial. .

From March 6, the day after Super Tuesday, when Trump effectively secured the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, to April 21, the Biden campaign and other Democratic advertisers spent $27.2 million on presidential campaign ads.
