Travel data reveals Bali’s most famous temples for tourists.
Travelers to Bali often cite the temples and the island’s deep spirituality as one of the main reasons for booking a holiday to Bali.
The two most popular temples for tourists in Bali are Tanah Lot Temple and Ulun Danu Beratan. One is very popular with international tourists, and the other is often overlooked by international tourists but is frequented by domestic tourists.
Ulun Danu Beratan spokesperson Agus Teja Saputra told reporters that the number of tourists visiting the temple has increased since the Easter holidays. He said more security guards will be deployed throughout the complex in view of the increased number of visitors.
Mr Saputra said: “Police will assist when supervising tourists at Ulun Danu Beratan in Bedugul.On a normal day, 300 domestic tourists visit Bedugul per day. , [Easter] There were 350 visits per day on holidays. ” Security enhancements continue.

Ulun Danu Beratan is a famous temple on the lake that often appears on picture postcards of the island.
This temple is one of the nine Kahiyangan Jagat temples in Bali and has similar spiritual importance to Luhul Uluwatu Temple, Lempuyang Luhul Temple, also known as Heaven’s Gate Temple, and of course the Mother Temple, Besakih Temple. It has sex.

During the Eid holiday in Indonesia, the head of public relations team at Tanah Lot Temple told reporters. Mr. Putu Iawan and his team predicted that the number of domestic and international visitors to the temple would increase by more than 100% during Eid.
He said he and his team will put in place crowd management systems and deploy more staff to monitor the situation on the ground.
Tourists visiting Tanah Lot Temple this weekend can expect the temple to be crowded and more security personnel to be present.
Uluwatu Temple is also one of the most popular temples and foreign tourists also visit Bali. The temple’s administrators recently confirmed that extensive renovation work will soon begin to protect the temple from coastal cliff erosion.
The famous temple sits on the edge of a cliff in Uluwatu, with cracks in the rock discovered since the 1980s, and administrators hope to secure its future.
Work is scheduled to begin in May, and AA Rama Putra from the Badung Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning Department confirmed that the renovation and construction work will not affect the visit of worshipers and tourists.
The project is expected to cost Rp 82 billion, but it will definitely help protect the temple from the elements.
Ai Maid Smerta, head of Pecatu traditional village, spoke to reporters about the conservation efforts. “We will pray together and hopefully there will be no landslides or erosion, let alone this holy site,” he said.
