Outlier Ventures and Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) today announced the select cohort for their AI x Crypto Base Camp accelerator program, an effort aimed at propelling the convergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology into new realms of possibility.
Outlier Ventures and ICP handpicked seven pioneering startups from a global pool of applicants that are poised to reshape the landscape where AI and decentralized technologies meet.
These startups include: Axorn, Drishti, Fungi, The Red Pill, stateless, genius and Tuvana Labrepresents a diverse range of innovations across AI agents, resource allocation, accessibility solutions, secure data validation, decentralized finance strategies, and open-source AI development.
Ruth Galvin, Accelerator Lead for Outlier Ventures’ AI x Crypto Base Camp, highlighted the transformative potential of integrating AI and blockchain, saying: “As AI becomes woven into the fabric of society, we believe the convergence of AI and blockchain technology will be transformative, enabling AI to realize its full potential while enhancing privacy, democratizing access, and decentralizing governance.”
The collaboration will leverage ICP’s Internet Computer, allowing AI models to run fully on-chain.
Dominic Williams, Founder and Chief Scientist at the DFINITY Foundation, highlighted the game-changing benefits: “The Internet Computer enables AI to run as smart contracts on the blockchain itself, bringing game-changing benefits. Throughout the program, selected startups will receive customized support from Outlier Ventures, ICP, and prominent industry partners such as Ocean Protocol, Fetch Ai, and DIA. This strategic mentorship aims to help participants across a range of disciplines, from developing portable AI agents to independently executing complex tasks within a decentralized framework.
