Robinson narrowed his search to five schools in late March – Oregon, Arkansas, Louisiana State, Oklahoma and Georgia – and visited the Sooners, Razorbacks, Ducks and Tigers in June.
While the Ducks looked impressive on the road to Eugene, the Sooners are the overwhelming favorite in the On3 Recruiting Projection Machine (RPM), based on expert selections made by On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons on Sunday.
“There was a lot of talk about the Ducks after the Oregon OV, but after checking in with various sources a week later, things are starting to lean toward the Sooners again,” Simmons wrote. “He won’t announce until July 6th, so there are still a few days, but OU is the favorite.”
Earlier this spring, SoonerScoop.com insider Josh McQuistion also recorded the interception and broke down OU’s pursuit of him.

Robinson recorded 42 tackles, 10 interceptions, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries as a junior last season. Offensively, he had 16 catches for 465 yards and three touchdowns and 15 carries for 119 yards and three touchdowns.
On special teams, he returned 15 kickoffs for 569 yards (37.9 yards per return) and four touchdowns.
