Philip Bell receives positive reviews after Ohio State visit
Bell’s trip to Ohio State marked his fourth visit to Columbus.
“This is my fourth time here and it was another great visit.” Bell told On3.“I’ve seen it all, so this was just about continuing to build relationships with the people there. It was a good visit for me, my family and to Ohio.”
The majority of the visit was spent meeting with the Buckeyes’ coaching staff and detailing their plans to have Bell in the scarlet and gray uniform.
“Prior to my visit, Ohio State told me they wanted to check all the boxes that were important to me, and they did. There’s a reason they call themselves developers, and the proof is in their track record.”
“They know that the most important thing to me is growth. Brian Hartline And we watched tape. We talked a lot about ball. We talked a lot about stuff. He showed me how they were going to use me, where I was going to line up and how he was going to develop me.
“After that, I met with the coach. Chip Kelly And we talked about offense. He has a great mind and has had a lot of success in college and in the NFL, so I like him a lot. Coach Ryan Day He was there too, and he’s an offensive-minded head coach and knows the way my team plays.
“The coaching staff knows what’s most important to me and they’ve done a great job. Going to Ohio State will give me a chance to develop and play for a great coach.”
