Defensive coordinator Al Golden and linebacker coach Max Bruch are leading the Irish attack on Faraimo, and not only are the opportunities on the field exciting for the elite athlete, but the chance to succeed in life after football also continues to intrigue him.

“My life was set for the next 40 years after I graduated from Notre Dame.” Faraimo told Blue & Gold in April.“The things I was able to do with my Notre Dame degree and the network I was able to build from the people I met there was probably the biggest takeaway for me.”

Faraimo is the No. 78 overall prospect and No. 8 linebacker in the 2025 cycle. On3 Industry Rankingsa weighted average utilizing all four of the largest recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 5 player in California.

Ireland continues to strive for a top-five entering class

As we enter June, Notre Dame is vying for a top-five spot. On3 Industry Team Recruitment RankingsIreland are currently sixth in the table but are likely to move up the table with Faraimo’s arrival.

The current 21-man class is made up of 13 top prospects, including the No. 7 ranked quarterback, a four-star recruit from Lucedale (Miss.) George County. Deuce NightKnight committed to the Irish in September.

“I want them to know they got an elite player,” Knight told On3 when asked what Irish fans should expect from him. “I’m going to do whatever I can to win games. They got a guy that’s going to come on the team and help everybody get better because I’m an elite player.”

“If I compete hard, it makes everyone around me compete hard, and I’m a great teammate. I’m going to support everyone in the program in any way I can.”

Wallingford, Connecticut Choate Rosemary Hall Will Black The offensive tackle is the On300’s No. 5 overall prospect in 2025. Four-star safety from Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange Ivan Taylorfour-star cornerback Ben Davis of Indianapolis Mark Zachary Chicago Simeon 4 Star EDGE Christopher Burgess Both are top 100 prospects.

Tampa Berkeley Prep four-star safety Dallas Golden is the 11th safety in the cycle and tight end from Notre Dame de la Baie in Green Bay (Wis.). James Flanigan The No. 8 tight end in the country. Other top commits include offensive tackle from Waukesha (Wis.) Catholic Memorial. Owen Streviga four-star linebacker from Delran (N.J.) St. Joseph Prep. Anthony Sacca Elmhurst (Ill.) York Community four-star defensive lineman Joseph Reiff.
