Pet owners often go to special lengths for their beloved dogs, and one Mumbai-based woman, Sarita Sardana, is in the headlines after gifting her dog a gold chain worth Rs 25 lakh.
In a viral video shared by Instagram account Anil Jewellers, Saldana can be seen buying a chain for an Indy dog named Tiger. Tiger can be seen waiting in the store as Saldana chooses the chain. Towards the end of the video, Tiger can be seen wagging his tail in excitement as Saldana places the chain around Tiger’s neck.

The video, which was shared two weeks ago, has been winning hearts on social media with pet lovers praising Saldana for her actions. One user commented, “Best thing she ever did in this world. #dogsaregod. When God throws away humans, dogs will be good companions in life… the world will be a better place…” Another user said, “So beautiful.”
“Adorable baby, pure soul,” a third user responded.
On June 30, a stray dog won hearts after saving a 32-year-old woman from a man who was about to rape her. According to reports, the incident took place at around 1:30 am in Tungareshwar valley, Vasai. The suspect, who is around seven feet tall, approached the woman from behind, pushed her to the ground and threatened to rape her. A nearby stray dog started barking at the suspect, which allowed the woman to escape.
