The Michigan State football team just completed its first official visits weekend of the summer, but the Spartans are already seeing some good news. Ten freshmen visited East Lansing last weekend, and many of them were top targets for Jonathan Smith and his staff.
This is the time of year when teams receive the most commitments from high school recruits, and things appear to be trending that way with the acquisition of the talented wide receiver out of Ohio.
Michigan State is expected to land 3⭐️ WR Braylon Collier from On3.

Braylon Collier is a three-star wide receiver from Sandusky, Ohio. According to 247Sports, he is the No. 133 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 33 player from Ohio.
Collier was one of 10 freshmen who visited Michigan State last weekend and was quickly projected by On3 on Sunday to commit to Michigan State. The fact that this came so soon after his visit to East Lansing seems more than just coincidence to me.
Sometimes recruiting predictions take a while to come to fruition, but Spartans fans might not have to wait that long with this one. Earlier Monday, Collier posted this to X:
June 7th👀⏳

Of course, it’s not 100% confirmed, but this could very well be the signing date Collier announces, and if it is, you can pretty much guarantee that the Spartans will be the ones to get the good news from him.
Iowa State and the University of Iowa are two other schools to keep an eye on for the player, with the Cyclones scheduled to visit on June 14 and the Hawkeyes on June 21. Those visits could be canceled if Collier commits to Michigan State on June 7, but we’ll have to wait and see if that happens.
There will be plenty more Michigan State recruiting news to come, but Collier could very well be the first domino to fall in the Spartans’ favor this summer.
