Mauricio Pochettino, who is currently linked with a move to Manchester United, could soon be reunited with two Chelsea players at Old Trafford, according to reports.
We’ve already seen how Manchester United’s victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final plunged Chelsea further into the FFP quagmire.However, the Red Devils may also be considering signing one or two players from their Premier League rivals.
Chelsea It has been widely reported that they are at risk of breaching the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules and may have to sell some saleable assets this summer to break even.
The net profit sales of academy products are more valuable, which has led to England international Conor Gallagher being targeted for redundancy.
The central midfielder is under contract until 2025, so Chelsea may decide to sell him this summer before his value starts to drop.
According to reports, Four Chelsea players are set to leave the club “imminently” due to FFP concerns. Alongside Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, Ian Maatsen and Armando Broja have also been linked with being sold.

‘Both Maatsen and Broya spent the second half of the season on loan at Dortmund and Fulham respectively, with Maatsen expected to remain with his loan club, while Broya has attracted interest from other teams after a disappointing spell at Craven Cottage.

Chelsea may be forced to sell players before June 30 to avoid breaching the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
Football Insider reported on May 22 that Pochettino had emerged as a “serious and very interesting” option for Manchester United’s hierarchy after leaving Stamford Bridge by mutual consent earlier this week.
O’Rourke suggested the 52-year-old Argentine could return to his former club in a bid to sign a player on a cheaper deal, with both Gallagher and Chalobah, both 24, the favourites to move to Old Trafford.
‘Gallagher and Chalobah could both move to Manchester United if Pochettino takes over as manager and the necessary funds are provided to make the deals happen.’
