Asia (Tuesday)
The Shanghai Composite Index fell 2.88 points, or 0.10%, to open at 2,919.57 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index fell 13.79 points, or 0.16 percent, to open at 8,548.16 points.
The Hang Seng Index fell 43.06 points, or 0.25 percent, to open at 17,481.00 points.
The S&P/ASX 200 index rose 59.50 points, or 0.77%, to open at 7,822.70 points.
The Nikkei 225 stock average opened at 40,953.41 points, up 172.71 points (0.42%) from the previous day.
Meanwhile, the Straits Times Index rose 8.21 points or 0.24 percent to open at 3,412.68 points.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index rose 14.70 points (0.51%) to open at 2,872.63 points.
America (Monday)
The S&P 500 index rose 5.66 points, or 0.10%, to close at 5,572.85.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 31.08 points, or 0.08 percent, to close at 39,344.79.
The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 50.98 points, or 0.28%, to close at 18,403.74.
Europe (Monday)
The DAX index fell 3.40 points (0.02%) to close at 18,472.05 points.
The FTSE 100 index fell 10.44 points (0.13%) to close at 8,193.49 points.
The Paris CAC 40 fell 48.17 points (0.63%) to close at 7,627.45 points.
