M&M and Drones Partnership with Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship under Didi Yojana. The scheme, launched earlier this year, aims to train 15,000 women to operate drones for agricultural purposes such as fertilizer sowing, crop monitoring and seed sowing, thereby creating new technological fields. Under this partnership, Mahindra and MSDE will conduct two pilot trials at the National Skills Training Institute (NSTI) in Hyderabad and Noida to skill 500 women in exclusive batches of only 20 women. Within this partnership, NSTI will provide the infrastructure to run the training program, accommodation for participants, and leverage local women’s self-help groups and NGOs to encourage participation.
