LSU’s 2025 class started off extremely well but suffered a tough loss last week.
The top-ranked cornerback in the state of Louisiana, four-star Javoree Antoine, decommitted to the Tigers, and since then, coach Brian Kelly and his staff have been working to replenish their cornerback depth.
To that end, they recently offered three-star cornerback Aidan Anding, who is the No. 561 cornerback nationally but No. 3 in the state of Louisiana according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Texas had been aggressive in pursuing Anders and had been projected to land him multiple times this month by both 247Sports and On3, but that all seemed to change with LSU’s offer on Friday.

On3’s Billy Embody recently predicted LSU would land Anding, and LSU also hopes to remain in the race for the nation’s top cornerback, DJ Pickett, who took an official visit to Baton Rouge earlier in the season.
LSU will be hoping it’s not too late for Anding, the No. 22 overall player out of the state of Louisiana, to get in the game.
