Defensive tackle Simeon Burrow Jr., the No. 2 transfer from Michigan State, is expected to ultimately transfer to LSU. Burrow Jr. arrived in Baton Rouge on Monday for a visit with the LSU football program. The Michigan State defensive tackle had 36 tackles, 3.5 sacks and one forced fumble in 2023. Landing Burrow Jr. would give the LSU Tigers an immediate starter as Burrow enters his senior year.
Damonic Williams is the top-ranked defensive tackle transfer in the transfer portal as he leaves TCU this spring. LSU has a 37% chance of getting Williams, while Colorado has a 42.3% chance of getting him. Williams will visit LSU on April 30 and May 1, potentially his last visit before entering the transfer portal. If LSU can land both Burrow Jr. and Williams, it would be a huge win for Brian Kelly as the team looks to rebuild its defensive line.
