LEIA’s landmark investment announcement
The Linea Ecosystem Investment Alliance (LEIA) has announced its first seven investments, marking a significant milestone for the investment syndicate. According to linea.mirror.xyz, LEIA is made up of over 50 leading venture capital firms dedicated to backing startups within the Linea Ecosystem, the world’s largest and fastest growing zkEVM. Priority Areas and Goals
LEIA was launched last July and aims to streamline the fundraising process for startups by investing across different stages and sectors, with a particular focus on decentralized finance (DeFi), social applications and gaming. The alliance not only connects venture capital firms with promising startups, but also provides technical support and mentorship to selected projects.
Kavan Canekeratne, Partner at Draper Dragon, highlighted LEIA’s role in curating investments and helping evaluate underlying technologies. Similarly, Sumeet Surana, Investment Director at Cypher Capital, praised LEIA’s work with Linea to drive Web3 adoption.

Agora: With our stablecoin AUSD, we aim to revolutionize payments and asset infrastructure on the blockchain, offering a unique incentive-aligned approach.
Curve: A modular data layer platform for games and AI that gives users control and monetize their own data. CARV boasts over 2.5 million users and partnerships with 350 companies.
Intertwined: Provides a customizable platform for secure and interoperable data processing across blockchains, enhancing interoperability of decentralized applications.
mix: We aim to develop a scalable and cost-effective derivatives protocol with a matching pool mechanism to become a liquidity hub for decentralized trading.
Tomo: Innovating the web3 SocialFi wallet, allowing users to buy keys on Linea to invest in creators. Tomo has driven significant user engagement and transactions on the platform.
Zero Lend: L2’s largest lending marketplace. Focus on liquid restake tokens, governance, and real-world asset lending. ZeroLend excels in user acquisition and unique incentive structure.
Inverter: We provide a modular protocol stack for no-code smart contract infrastructure targeting real-world tokenization use cases and sustainable financial growth.
