As one of country music’s most popular artists, Rainie Wilson often appears trending on social media. However, it’s not every day that the “Hang Tight Honey” singer makes an appearance on the trending list, as online users mistake her for other artists, especially Beyoncé. However, that’s exactly what happened on Sunday (June 2), when some fans interpreted an X/Twitter teaser for Wilson’s Las Vegas show as an announcement by Beyoncé. The “Heart Like a Truck” singer clarified on social media on Monday (June 3) that it was, indeed, herself who was wearing the cowboy hat.

Live Nation Las Vegas also teased the news on social media on Sunday (June 2), sharing a photo of the silhouette of a blonde woman in a cowboy hat. Beyoncé, 42, has released her country debut. Cowboy CarterThis led many Beyhive members to speculate that Live Nation was hinting at a permanent Las Vegas show.

Additionally, Wilson will headline this year’s CMA Festival, with doors opening at 10 a.m. CST on Thursday (June 6) at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, with the four-day festival running until late at night on Sunday (June 9).
