Kyle Hogan practices corporate, securities and partnership law, with a focus on investment fund matters. He provides investment advice to institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, endowments and family offices.
Kyle also represents fund sponsors in connection with fund launches and fund raisings, seed capital arrangements, manager transactions (including minority stake sales and restructurings) and partnership arrangements between principals.
Kyle has extensive experience across private equity, venture capital, credit, real estate, infrastructure and alternative asset classes including a variety of liquidity strategies, and all stages of the investment lifecycle. He has assisted clients in all aspects of their business, from raising capital and establishing funds to complex transactions that support investment and other business strategies. A strong problem solver, Kyle enjoys advising clients on novel transactions and structures.
Prior to rejoining Akin, Kyle founded and ran a software company in the alternative investment space that was acquired by a large technology provider. Kyle leverages his entrepreneurial background to provide innovative, business-oriented solutions to his clients.
