Kristi Noem suggests Biden’s dog should have been killed too

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, already under fire for killing her family’s 14-month-old dog and bragging about it, on Sunday killed another family pet, President Biden. I set my sights on a German Shepherd Commander who has a habit of biting.

Appearing on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Noem, a Republican, suggested that the commander in chief, who was ousted from the White House last fall for blooding scores of Secret Service agents, should also have been fired.

“Joe Biden’s dog attacked 24 Secret Service agents,” she told interviewer Margaret Brennan. “So how many people are attacked enough to sustain dangerous injuries before deciding whether or not to get a dog?”

The commander was sent to an undisclosed location after the Secret Service recorded 24 harrowing episodes involving him between October 2022 and July 2023, about half of which required medical attention. Sent.

Ms. Noem’s opinion on the appropriate way to respond to him emerged during a publicity campaign leading up to the publication of her memoir, “No Going Back,” which will be published Tuesday.

The South Dakota governor, who was widely seen as former President Donald J. Trump’s running mate, wrote in his book about Cricket, a female wire-haired pointer he intended to use to hunt pheasants on his ranch. She said the dog was shot and killed in a gravel pit because it was found to be “untrainable”, “dangerous to anyone who came into contact with it” and “worthless” as a hunting dog.

“I hated that dog,” Noem wrote.

She also alluded to the commander in chief when detailing her decision to shoot Cricket, saying, “Dogs that bite are dangerous and unpredictable (are you listening, Joe Biden?). This is especially true if you are running a business.” .

The White House did not respond to requests for comment.

In an interview with CBS, Noem tried to defend the killing of Cricket and the goat she shot the same day as “choices I made over 20 years ago” to “protect people.”

But she also gave a nod in the book to the idea that cricket might be in a better situation, or worse. “Commander, please say hello to Cricket for me,” she added, imagining herself becoming president in 2025 and sending Biden out to meet his dog.
