McLean, VA, April 12, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Kettler, a real estate investor, developer and operator, announced the addition of J.D. Sitton to its executive team. Mr. Sitton, a seasoned industry veteran, will serve as executive vice president of capital markets and strategy as Kettler’s investment management business grows.

Having worked for more than 30 years at companies such as Hines, JPMorgan Asset Management, and Barings, Sitton brings a wealth of expertise working with institutional real estate investors in the United States and abroad. He will serve on Kettler’s investment committee and lead the company’s discretionary fundraising efforts. Mr. Sitton will also maintain and expand relationships with investors and their consultants and collaborate with his senior leadership in developing strategy for corporate funds.

Mr. Sitton, highly regarded within the industry, previously served as Senior Managing Director of Capital Markets Americas at Hines. He spent 15 years at J.P. Morgan in Asset Management, including a period as Head of Real Estate Americas Client Strategy. He started his career at his Equitable Real Estate, where he spent nine years, moving from accounting and finance to capital markets.
Sitton holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from George Mason University and is a CFA charterholder. He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association and holds Series 7, 63, and 24 securities licenses.
